How does the Masternaut Vehicle Tracking solution work?
Each of the vehicles you want to track are fitted with a small tracking device (MCU). These contain Masternaut's own GPS and GPRS tracking technology. Real-time information about location, speed and distance are captured and sent back in real-time. We then make this information available to you in your own password protected area on the Masternaut website.
A variety of enhancements can be added to the Masternaut vehicle tracking system according to the needs of your business. Examples include driver identification, tacograph interface and live temperature monitoring.

Mobile Web Access - Rapide
Even when you’re out on the road you can stay in control. All you need is a web-enabled device and you can view the exact movements of your entire mobile workforce with minute-by-minute updates. You can monitor individual vehicles or access a seven-day history. This fantastic feature is standard for all Masternaut vehicle tracking customers.

- Using reports, your data is consolidated into powerful management information reports - generated weekly, monthly or whenever suits your business best. Allowing you to make informed management decisions and ensure you realise a high return on your investment.
- Reports are customised to meet your requirements e.g. driver time sheets, engine idling, time spent at specific locations, mileage reports etc.

Using GreenerFleet, you can make your people more aware of green issues and encourage drivers to act safely and more responsible. This not only lowers your emissions but also lowers your fuel bills as well.
Driver ID - See who was driving and when
- Ideal where your vehicles are being driven by more than one person. Driver ID allows you to manage journey histories and driving information for individual drivers. Drivers are given their own unique keyring which is inserted each time they drive. The Masternaut tracking solution automatically separates the data for each person and means timesheets can easily be created for each employee.
- A discreet ID key reader is fitted on the vehicle dashboard that links to the vehicle tracking system. If the key is not inserted, an audible alert reminds the driver to insert their ID keyring.
- A combined dashboard button/reader is available for customers who want both Driver ID and a Privacy Button.
